Susan has been a practitioner for over 25 years. Teaching allows her to share what she has come to love and has made a part of her life. She is passionate about restoring someone to a greater state of health using all the tools of yoga. Susan's teaching is centered around therapeutics, restorative, yoga for seniors, meditation and hatha yoga. Trained at the Ananda School for Yoga and Meditation, she has an alignment base style but also one that encompasses the whole individual meeting him/her where they are in the moment. She is a certified yoga therapist, C-IAYT. Her meditation techniques are from the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. Yoga for osteoporosis (bone loss) and stress reduction are two areas of speciality for Susan. One of Susan's Seva (service) practices is keeping space in her private teaching schedule to offer yoga therapy to someone who might not otherwise be able to afford it.
